How Your Gift Helps

The L.I.F.T. Women’s Resource Center is a conduit through which your contributions flow to the women who comprise our client base. When you help meet our needs, you enable us to meet the needs of women who desperately need a lift out of their circumstances and into a better tomorrow. It costs more than $200,000 to operate the Center each year. Here are a few ways your financial gift can assist L.I.F.T. in continuing its life-transforming work:

$100 provides workshop materials for 50 women.
$250 keeps the phone line to the Center — a lifeline for our clients — operating for a month.
$500 provides round-trip transportation to the Center from area shelters for 500 women.
$750 covers the cost of leasing a copy machine for four months.
$1,500 assures clients will have hot meals for a month.
$2,000 buys office supplies and postage for five months.
$5,000 underwrites the cost of the Annual Fall Outreach Conference for 100 women and their children from local shelters.
$10,000 covers the cost of operating the center for three weeks.

Your generous support make it possible for L.I.F.T. to keep operating and continue lifting the spirits of women who are reclaiming their lives after suffering domestic violence or substance abuse. - Monthly partnership commitment of $10.00 or more

- In-kind donations (volunteer speakers, clothing items, health and beauty aides, books, other incentives, underwriting the cost of outings, etc.)
